Bob Welch, a lobbyist for the Wisconsin chapter of the National Rifle Association, has assured his minions that the “Connecticut Effect” of 20 dead first-graders and six dead teachers will blow over quickly and then it will be business as usual.
We have a strong agenda coming up for next year, but of course a lot of that’s going to be delayed as the “Connecticut effect” has to go through the process.1
Mr. Welch ignores the fact that the tone deaf echo chamber that is the NRA is only helping to amplify the “Connecticut Effect.”
Because of his lack of national stature, Bob Welch fails to qualify for inclusion in the Marketing Department, but he easily meets all the criteria to be awarded the label of a Siriusly Unhip Kneebiter.
